[OLD] I just wanted an Ampharos...

So I wanted to get a second Ampharos to breed with my current one, named Duncan. I searched all through the GTS, and found only one. I traded it for a little Mareep that I recently bred. I knew it was suspicious when I saw her name...

DRAINED. Her name was DRAINED. So here's how the story went after I got her...


DRAINED was strangely underleveled. She was only level 10, compared to level 100 for Duncan. I knew I would have to get out my AR for the level 100 cheat, to get it done quickly. So I went to my menu and saved, then shut it off. I switched Soulsilver with Action Replay, and clicked it on. I switched AR with Soulsilver when it was on the AR menu, and selected the cheat. Later, I had her at level 100 quickly. Or... so I thought. I nearly dropped my DS when I saw her level. It was at 666. So she was hacked for her max level to be that.

Great. "Looks like I'll have to get rid of her somehow... this looks REAL bad."
I put her into the PC, and noticed Release was gone. Only Move was available. But I could only move her to the first slot of my party. I attempted to move her back into the PC, but got greeted with a message. "DRAINED refuses to leave you!" I decided to check out her moves on a wild pokemon at Mt. Silver.

Wild Rapidash appeared. I selected Charge beam. "Rapidash was frozen in fear!" Strange, I thought. "Charge Beam is drained!" So that's what her name meant. I selected run. "DRAINED wants to fight! She forces you to stay!" I tried to use Power Gem. "Power Gem is drained!" After the turn ended, I tried to run again. "Stay! DRAINED commands you!" I eventually used all of her moves. Each one was drained. "Rapidash uses escape! Rapidash escaped!"

I gasped when I saw her overworld sprite in every angle. The gems were gone. Red sprites were on parts of it. I decided to see her summary. The gems were replaced by wounds, and her eyes were bleeding. I noticed her status, DRAINED. I entered another battle. "DRAINED used Death Song!" Ampharos can't learn that... "Death count= 1!" "Death count=0!" "Do you love me? Yes or no?" Pokemon can't talk. I answered yes. "LiEs..!" The battle ended. I turned off the DS, hoping to lose the data. A month later, I turned it back on. "WhY dOn'T yOu LoVe Me, MaStEr?! WhY?!?!"  "DRAINED used thrash! Embrosia died! Duncan died! Shadow died! Barry died!" This continued until all of my favorite pokemon were listed, except for DRAINED. I then attempted to release her again. "NeVeR aGaIn WiLl YoU nEgLeCt Me... AlL yOuR fAvOrItEs ArE gOnE... dO yOu LoVe Me?!" I answered yes. "lIeS... nOw AnSwEr ThIs..."

 I knew it was a bad idea to get her.
The screen faded to black, and DRAINED's overworld sprite was staring at me. "WhY dId YoU dRaIn Me? wHy?!" "I didn't drain you!!" I screamed to my DS screen. "YeS yOu DiD... lIaR... gIvE mE yOuR eNeRgY..." It showed DRAINED rearing back, with yellow sprites going into her. My DS light went from green to red. She was stealing my DS's charged energy. But it didn't go off. "NoW yOu WiLl FeEl My PaIn..." I blacked out, feeling like my eyes were being gouged out.

I woke up, seeing with red tinting everything. My mom was frowning at me, holding a bloody DS stylus in her hand. "Why are you attempting to blind yourself?" "B-but... my Ampharos..." "For the last time, pokemon aren't real." I saw an Ampharos covered in blood, with missing eyes and gems taking the stylus from my mom's hand, and leaping at me. I suddenly shot up out of bed, in a cold sweat. The lights came on. "What's wrong, dear? You were crying in your sleep, yelling 'I didn't drain you!'." "Oh, sorry mom. Bad dream."
